Andrzej Chmiel

Co-founder and marketing director of Direct Capital Group, a consultancy company dealing with development of e-commerce platforms for online sale of insurance, financial and investment products. Before that, he worked for Pepsi for 12 years; until March 2008, he acted as a Management Board member in charge of marketing at Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers Poland where he was responsible for, among many others, development and implementation of marketing plans of the company. Previously, he worked as a marketing manager at Central Europe Group Pepsi Americas in Budapest. His duties included marketing of new Pepsi products on the Polish, Hungarian, Czech and Slovakian markets. As a Business Development Manager at Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers Poland, he was in charge of acquisition projects on the Polish beverage market. In 1990’s, he worked as a brand manager at PepsiCo Trading Poland. He has a degree in economics, he graduated from the Faculty of Management and Computer Science at Wrocław University of Economics. During his university programme, he was broadening his knowledge and participated in different student trainings in United States.
